Default Jeff Cooke update- Sat. Nov. 7

This is from Sandy---- Jeff underwent a long and delicate surgery yesterday afternoon. Lots of repair work done. He is now resting and recovering in ICU. They put him back in there due to swelling and his breathing difficulty. Thank you all for the prayers during this time. We also appreciate all the calls of support and visits. While he is in ICU he can have no calls or visits. The family can only go in to visit with him for small amounts of time. We will let you all know when he gets moved into a regular room. He would love to have visitors then. Again, thank you all for all the thoughts and prayers, and holding him and the family close to your hearts!!!!!!!

Thanks Chan for the update! Sandy & Dana my thoughts n prayers are with you! I am praying ernestly that he doesnt suffer too much from the pain, that he has an easy recovery & that the surgery has him back to his handsome self! It breaks my heart to think of him in pain! I know you have everyone around you for support, but we love you and please - seriously - lean on us, your friends if you need anything!!! Food, to talk, someone to run errands or any need you may have - we are here!

Love you all!

thanks for the up date. i been there myself a long time ago, it will take a while, but ole JEFF'S tough! not trying to be funny but eating through a straw ain't no fun. hey, when he's able we need to buy that ole boy a big steak.
some people call it lucky, some call it blessed, i'm thankful THE GOOD LORD saw fit to not let this accident be any worse than it is. hope you have a speedy recovery JEFF, and family keep your chins up, a lot of people are praying hard for you.
i wasn't kidding about the steak, we do need to get together. a lot of things
have happened to racers and fans this season. lets be thankful, GOD bless you JEFF, hurry home.
